NCR Packaging Design
During the second half of the Summer 2019 Internship at NCR Corporation as a UI/UX designer, I designed and prototyped two packaging concepts for the new point-of-sale (POS) product lineup.

Deliver - Final Concept 1
Concept 1 considers the ease of manufacturing, storage efficiency, and compatibility to shipping boxes. One semi-open rectangular box serves as the product display and container of other components, and it is nested in a rectangular shell. A four-sided sheet wraps around the outer shell and displays product information. Instead of renders of the real product, outlines from different views are shown on the sheet.

Deliver - Final Concept 2
The second concept aims to create an unique and refreshing unboxing experience. The shape of the packaging follows the side contour of the POS system, and an “ID card” of the product is tied to the front of the box using braided rope to show product info. Users can detach the card and use it as a decoration for the POS system or save it as a token that represents a good start of their business.
